Adorably quirky, excitingly mundane in its seeming triviality, yet larger than life in scale—Arjo and Maine’s prenup shoot was as much a reflection of each other’s personality and as it was of their love for each other.

Set in various everyday scenes of LA and Vegas, it was a shoot I would never forget.

It was unreservedly fun. It was undoubtedly intimate. But what it was, essentially, was the unveiling of the soul of two wonderful people who were deeply in love with each other.

The result was a lesson in some of the finer points of photography; a reminder of why we take photographs in the first place—and that is to capture moments made special not by the location nor by the occasion, but by the persons forever framed in these portraits of light.

It truly was one for the books. And it’s an experience that set the bar for what an engagement shoot could be.
