What I like most about shooting destination weddings is that you know that it’s intimate. Only the closest family and friends would go out of their way to be part of your special day. That holds true for Rachel and James. They had a beautiful celebration in one of the most beautiful backdrops in the Philippines.
Batanes island has the most unpredictable weather. To have a wedding there is a risky feat but is truly rewarding when you happen to be blessed with great weather. Rachel and James new that all along. As expected, there were showers days before the wedding. There were dark clouds in the morning which, pretty much, set my expectation for the day.
Interestingly, the weather suddenly shifted just before the bride entered the church, as if the heavens were trying to show their approval of the union.
