Third Wave

A Wedding Photography Workshop

A new wave of wedding photographers is growing. We are the ever aspiring ones, whose passion is rooted deep in the art of photography and yet we adapt to modern times. Much like these third wave cafes who have gone back to the beginnings of coffee and infused it into the modern society.

With each shoot is our latest masterpiece, a brew of light and shadows. To us, the capture of that perfect moment is a caffeine rush. It is addicting and insatiable.

With social media at its peak, the game has very much changed. To be in this industry, we must adapt and evolve, and yet still be true to our strength and style.

The Course

Join me, as I share the story of my journey, from diving head first into a highly saturated industry with just an entry level camera and a lot of perseverance, to shooting hundreds of weddings, to putting up my dream office and showroom, and then, to being featured as one of the top wedding photographers by Metro Weddings Magazine. I’ll also share how I developed my shooting style, where I get my inspiration, and how I work, including using natural light to your advantage, composing an image, posing and post-processing. I’ll answer your questions, including but not limited to:

How to build a strong brand?
How do I attract the right clients and create a niche market?
How do I get destination shoots?
How do I develop supplier relationships?
How do I get my work published?

We’ll even have a one on one session for your other burning concerns, as well as hands-on training where we’ll get to shoot an editorial collaboration with our partners, Blue Trumpet, The Henry Hotel, and TASTEFVL by Bride and Breakfast.

The Partners

We’ve teamed up with these brands to give you an incredible learning experience and an editorial shoot that would surely boost your portfolio.

_blog-henryhotelThe Henry Hotel is a hidden oasis amidst this urban jungle of Manila. It is both new and old. They have kept the original houses and furnishings from the mid-20th century and blended it with modern comforts, giving the venue a very homey and nostalgic feel.

_blog-bluetrumpetBlue Trumpet PH, though recently established is not exactly unfamiliar with the events industry. Formed by three brands – Joed See Events, Spark + Twinkle, and Vatel Manila – it aims to be a leading player as an event planning, production, and design company.
